Killinkere Visitor & Pet Farm can be found in Lisnagirl, Co Cavan. They offer families an excellent fun-filled day out soaking up the farm life, interacting with the animals, and enjoying the beautiful natural setting. The hosts, Paddy and Tara, are absolutely wonderful. They offer great educational talks for children, and welcome all very warmly to the haven they have created. There is no shortage of activities to do and animals to pet and feed, including Shetland ponies, ducks, horses, goats, and pigs. They have a glorious walking nature trail, a lovely café for snacks and refreshments, pony rides around the fields for the kids, fun tractor rides for the whole family, a super playing area and beautiful picnic areas. The animals are so well looked after, the grounds are brilliantly maintained, and the staff are laid back and friendly.
