Hawthorn Lodge B&B
Review
Hawthorn Lodge B&B here in Belturbet offers a perfect base with which to explore Co. Cavan and its neighbouring Co. Fermanagh. Set in some of Ireland’s prettiest countryside and only a stone’s throw from Northern Ireland, it makes a wonderful base for exploring Co. Cavan’s hidden corners. Hosts Pauline and Steve Rodgers, originally from Yorkshire, along with their experienced daughter Samantha, have truly mastered the art of hospitality. They consistently go above and beyond, whether it’s with local tips, thoughtful touches or genuine conversation over breakfast. With breathtaking views of nearby lakes and sweeping rural landscapes, you feel miles from the hustle of everyday life. Warm, relaxed and quietly professional, Hawthorn Lodge B&B is the kind of place you’ll be reluctant to leave, I was!
