Ferrycarrig Lodge
Ferrycarrig Lodge is quite literally steeped in local folklore, having been built from the locally felled pitch pine timbers of the old Wexford Bridge, which straddled the River Slaney a hundred years ago. Many of the exposed beams visible at the Lodge once formed part of the bridge.A Failte Ireland Four Star Bed and Breakfast with breathtaking views of the River Slaney, local woodland and green fields, we offer a relaxed, friendly and tranquil atmosphere that you'll never want to leave behind. We have four rooms available at Ferrycarrig Lodge, to suit your various needs. Two of our rooms feature two beds, one with a double and a single, another with two doubles. We then have a room with a double bed and finally a room with a kingsize bed. Three of our rooms offer beautiful views of the River.

Mary Barry’s Seafood Bar & Restaurant, on the outskirts of Kilmore Quay, is a pub and dining destination I was genuinely delighted to return to after first endorsing it nine years ago. Expectations were high, but what Susie Doyle and her husband Alec have achieved here is exceptional. In my opinion, Mary Barry’s is now the finest pub in Co. Wexford, and fully deserving of our rare Iconic Status.
