Mary Barrys Bar & Restaurant
Review
Mary Barry’s Seafood Bar & Restaurant, on the outskirts of Kilmore Quay, is a pub and dining destination I was genuinely delighted to return to after first endorsing it nine years ago. Expectations were high, but what Susie Doyle and her husband Alec have achieved here is exceptional. In my opinion, Mary Barry’s is now the finest pub in Co. Wexford, and fully deserving of our rare Iconic Status. The name itself carries wonderful heritage, with Mary Barry remembered as a strong businesswoman back in the 1940s, and that same spirit clearly lives on today. The kitchen team take real pride in sourcing from only the best suppliers, while the front of house team bring warmth, professionalism and genuine welcome to every visit. With a selection of mouth watering menus, the food here is truly outstanding, the atmosphere is alive with character, and Mary Barry’s remains a true Wexford treasure.
