Review
Coral Gables Guesthouse, set on the outskirts of Rosslare, is a place I am genuinely delighted to endorse again for a second time. This wonderful family-run guesthouse offers the sort of warm, dependable hospitality that makes a stay feel easy from the moment you arrive. With a generous choice of rooms, there is something here to suit almost every reason for visiting this lovely corner of Co. Wexford, whether you are passing through, exploring the coast or taking the ferry from nearby Rosslare Europort. The rooms are comfortable, cosy, clean and fresh, giving guests exactly what they need after a day on the road. Close to many of the region’s top attractions, Coral Gables is a great base also for a few days of exploring. They are pet friendly
Campsite
Coral Gables Campsite, on the outskirts of Rosslare, is somewhere I am very pleased to recommend, and for very good reason. This pet friendly, family-run site offers a relaxed and reassuring base for anyone visiting this beautiful part of Co. Wexford. Whether you are arriving from Rosslare Europort, heading off on the ferry, enjoying a coastal break or touring the region, its location could hardly be more convenient. The campsite has that easy-going, welcoming feel that makes travelling feel simple, with everything kept clean, well cared for and thoughtfully presented. It is ideal for visitors who want comfort, practicality and good value without losing that personal touch. With many of the area’s best attractions close by, Coral Gables Campsite is a superb place to stay and explore.

The Kilrane Inn is a pub with a wonderful sense of place and a food offering that fully deserves its return to my restaurant section and i’m sure it won’t be the last. Known proudly as both the first and last pub here in Ireland, its location makes it ideal for anyone travelling to or from Rosslare Europort, as well as those exploring the wider beauty of Co. Nearby Iconic

Lobster Pot
The Lobster Pot Restaurant on the outskirts of Rosslare is one of those rare dining rooms that has become part of the fabric of this region. A true constant for many years, its reputation has been built not on fuss, but on superb food, genuine hospitality and a standard that never seems to slip. New owner Paul Behan clearly understands the responsibility of looking after such a celebrated name, and he does

Mary Barrys Bar & Restaurant
Mary Barry’s Seafood Bar & Restaurant, on the outskirts of Kilmore Quay, is a pub and dining destination I was genuinely delighted to return to after first endorsing it nine years ago. Expectations were high, but what Susie Doyle and her husband Alec have achieved here is exceptional. In my opinion, Mary Barry’s is now the finest pub in Co. Wexford, and fully deserving of our rare Iconic Status.
