Unfortunately, the Dingle Brewhouse tour is all fur coat and certainly no knickers. Tucked behind the badly run Dick Mack’s pub, is this even worse run mini brewery. Unfortunately, my dealings with the owners left me far from impressed. After meeting with co-owner Aussie Barrett, he agreed to being in this book. He signed the order form, and the two modest design fees were clearly accepted. Our external designer produced the artwork promptly and to a high standard. Then, when payment was due, the Brewhouse simply refused to pay, which apparently is common here. No explanation that matched what was agreed, no attempt to resolve it, just silence and ignorance. For a business that sells a product on the expectation customers pay up front, that hypocrisy is astounding if this is how they treat partners and suppliers. If I were you, I’d give this brewery tour the widest of berths!
