Brook Manor Lodge
Review
Just outside lively Tralee, Brook Manor Lodge is the kind of guest house that restores your faith in hospitality. Sandra and Jerome, first endorsed in my debut Top 100 Attractions on the Island of Ireland book, have refined their craft for nearly two decades without missing a beat. Officially four stars, the service is unequivocally five: gracious, polished, and personal. Bedrooms are distinguished and thoughtfully furnished, with generous space to unpack and exhale; several well-appointed suites add that extra stretch for longer stays. Mornings begin with a standout breakfast built on fresh, local produce that hasn’t travelled far, and you can taste the difference. Add easy parking, views, and expert tips for exploring Kerry, and you’ve a base that feels capable and caring. Highly recommended!

Siamse Tíre - National Folk Theatre of Ireland
Siamse Tire Theatre & Arts Centre returns for a second outing in my Island of Ireland book, a testament to how highly we rate it here at Top 100 Attractions, and I’m certain you will too. Over the years, I’ve watched this cultural gem evolve from its humble beginnings into one of County Kerry’s most important event venues.

Tralee Bay Wetlands Eco & Activity
The Tralee Bay Wetlands Eco & Activity Park is a shining example of how a community project can evolve into a true visitor favourite. This is the second time we’ve endorsed the centre in my Top 100 Attractions on the Island of Ireland book and once again it doesn’t disappoint.

Kirby Brogues Inn
Kirby’s Brogue Inn is where Tralee’s legendary welcome meets properly cooked Irish food. Founded by the late Bill Kirby, an exuberant presence in the town and his wife Mary, it now thrives under their experienced daughter Fiona and her husband Kevin, who keep the heart while sharpening the details.
