Tralee Bay Wetlands Eco & Activity
Review
“when I strayed with my love to the pure crystal fountain, that stands in the beautiful vale of Tralee.” C. Mordaunt Spencer/C. W. Glover.
Tralee Bay Wetlands Eco & Activity Centre, unites fun with fascinating facts and fab activities for all ages. Amazing things to do and see include: guided tours, safari boat trips, bird hides and a nature boardwalk! During the summer months you can enjoy light watersports too, such as Outdoor Team building. Choose from an exciting plethora of things to do; Scavenger hunts, orienteering, Mammals, show and tell and Clay modelling, Nature studies talk and the awesome Climbing Wall. The magnificent 20-metre viewing tower overlooks the entire site, and has a child-friendly interpretive audio-visual exhibition, as well as being fully guided by a local expert. The Bay is a designated Natura2000 site and a Ramsar wetland of international importance, and due to the great diversity of habitats there, the Bay is of huge ecological and conservation magnitude.
