Buvinda B&B
Review
Just a few miles from bustling Drogheda, Buvinda B&B enjoys a remarkable position in the heart of the Boyne Valley, directly overlooking the historic Battle of the Boyne landscape. I arrived expecting a pleasant visit, but Buvinda genuinely exceeded expectations. Hosts Michele and Arthur, together with their son Arthur Jnr, are every bit as welcoming as the many glowing reviews suggest, giving the property a personal character. Accommodation includes a small selection of comfortable rooms within the house, alongside a charming self-catering cottage next door. Its location makes exploring this fascinating part of Ireland easy, with Northern Ireland around 40 minutes away and Dublin roughly 50 minutes by car. Add a light breakfast before heading out, and Buvinda becomes a memorable base I happily recommend.
