Woodlands Guest House
Review
Woodlands Guest House is a luxurious retreat in the middle of County Kerry. The perfect opportunity to unwind, surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens and of course the glorious countryside to explore beyond that. This home has been thoughtfully designed for the discerning guest; with all the mod-cons available and decorated to a high standard. All rooms are en-suite, and there is a guest lounge, sunroom and decked areas to enjoy, with the charming sound of birds and the Brown Flesk River in the background. What’s more – there is a resident chef on site to not only provide the most delicious and varied breakfast and dinner menus, but also to offer cooking and baking courses to those interested! The O’Connor family offers a warm, inviting experience. If you are lucky, you will have the opportunity to witness the talented young Nancy playing the fiddle. A charming experience all round.

Siamse Tíre - National Folk Theatre of Ireland
Siamse Tire Theatre & Arts Centre returns for a second outing in my Island of Ireland book, a testament to how highly we rate it here at Top 100 Attractions, and I’m certain you will too. Over the years, I’ve watched this cultural gem evolve from its humble beginnings into one of County Kerry’s most important event venues.
