Jane and Richard have been at Waterhead "forever..." Their lovely little ‘shabby chic' coffee shop is full of character and a place where you can go and drink fabulous coffee and eat plenty of homemade cakes, blueberry scones and fruit slices . . . or why not try one of their ‘famous' hot chocolate dip ice creams, they are exceptionally "moreish".
With freshly made soups, panini and tasty filled rustic rolls on offer, to eat in or takeaway if you are heading to the fells for the day. Alternatively for the more relaxed of you who simply want to sit and chill on the new outside terrace which overlooks Lake Windermere "it is almost close enough to the lake to tickle your toes in".
So go along and enjoy the food, atmosphere and view, come rain or shine.a
