The Happy Cup Cafe
Review
The Happy Cup Cafe in the quaint town of Oldcastle, Co. Cavan, is an absolute delight. Owners Laura and Gintaras have spent years perfecting what they do, and in their new, larger premises you can really see it shine. With their wings finally unclipped, they now bake all their own breads, cakes and treats, filling the cafe with the warm smell of fresh baking each morning. Food is freshly prepared on site and beautifully presented. Even the coffee, roasted in-house, is some of the best I’ve tasted in a long time, rich, smooth and full of flavour. If you love great coffee, home baking and good provenance, you’ll truly love the Happy Cup Cafe every single time you visit and I cannot wait to return!
