Riverside
Riverside Bed and Breakfast is located 600m outside the centre of Laragh, set back from the Rathdrum Road and opposite the entrance to Glendalough Woollen Mills.
The B&B has three spacious bedrooms, all of which have an ensuite with a shower. There is a television in each bedroom and free Wi-Fi acccess is available throughout the house. There is a cot and high-chair available for families with infants. Tea and coffee is available for guests to make anytime in the breakfast room.
Every morning, breakfast is made fresh to order with locally-sourced free-range eggs. With some advance notice, a packed lunch can be made up for those going walking or cylcing for the day. There are a choice of restaurants available locally for an evening meal. Guests at Riverside can avail of a complimentary voucher for a glass of wine with an evening meal in Lynham's Hotel.
Wicklow Way Walkers who are looking to take a day off the trail can hire bicycles from the Bed and Breakfast and explore the greater Glendalough area. The hosts at Riverside will be happy to advise on what suitable routes there are to take for your own fitness level.
When setting out to rejoin the Wicklow Way, there is an alternative route to Glendalough that can be accessed behind the Woollen Mills and along the leafy 'Green Road'.
Although the bed and breakfast is listed as being open from March until October, it may be possible to book outside of these dates with some advance notice. Occassional offers are available for those staying more than one night. Please enquire about these when booking.
