Clara Lara Fun Park
Review
Clara Lara Fun Park, close to Rathdrum in the heart of Co. Wicklow, is a true throwback to the golden days of wholesome, outdoor fun. This is the second time I’ve featured it in my Top 100 Attractions on the Island of Ireland book and if they keep doing what they’re doing, it certainly won’t be the last. In a world consumed by screens and devices, Clara Lara’s a refreshing, hands-on adventure where time slows down and fun speeds up. From the iconic aqua shuttle and amphicat canoes to rowing boats and go-karting, there’s an endless list of activities that bring out the big kid in everyone. Perfect for families, school trips, or groups of friends, it’s a place where you don’t just watch your children play, you join in. In fact, during my visit, it was the adults who looked like they were having the time of their lives!
