Portnaghy House B&B
Review
Tucked away in the peaceful Monaghan countryside, Portnaghy House B&B is the kind of farm stay you never want to leave. Robert is your host and, within minutes of arrival, you’ll understand why guests adore him, his easy warmth and genuine interest in people are utterly infectious. The house itself feels bright, airy and modern, with spotless bedrooms designed for a truly restful night’s sleep, that doesn’t break the bank. Mornings here are a highlight. Breakfasts are cooked to order by an experienced chef who is passionate about provenance and she proudly champions local produce on every plate. Think perfectly cooked eggs, generous portions and flavours that set you up for the day. Portnaghy House is a feel-good escape you’ll be eager to return to.
