Review

Located in the heart of Armagh City, the Armagh Planetarium is the island’s leading centre for astronomical research and it’s open to the public to explore the wonders of space and science. This is the second time i’ve endorsed the planetarium in our Top 100 Attractions on the Island of Ireland book, and once visited, it's easy to see why. The experience is immersive and inspiring, especially the Night Sky Theatre Show in the auditorium, which is both visually stunning and incredibly informative. The passionate team here are true experts in their field and make complex astronomical concepts easy to understand for all ages and they’re really friendly too. Whether you're a curious child, a science enthusiast, or simply looking for a unique day out, you’ll leave with your mind expanded and full of fascinating facts. A must-visit when in Northern Ireland, educational, entertaining, and truly out of this world.
