Review

Easton Farm Park really is one of Suffolk’s true family attractions, a hugely established farm park that has been welcoming visitors since long before farm parks became the popular days out they are today. Proudly family owned, it has that rare sense of history, warmth and genuine care running through every corner. The animals are, of course, the stars of the show, with a wonderful variety to meet, each looking happy, content and perfectly at home in their beautiful Suffolk surroundings. Yet Easton Farm Park offers far more than friendly faces and wagging tails. With daily activities, play areas and plenty to keep younger visitors entertained, it delivers excellent value for money and a full day of simple, honest enjoyment. Even better and quite rare, families can stay overnight in cow-themed glamping sheds, cottages or camping pitches, making this a memorable countryside escape that feels affordable, welcoming and wonderfully different.

Woodbridge is one of Suffolk’s prettiest and significant towns, and right at its heart stands The Historic Bull Inn, a true landmark of warmth, character and timeless hospitality. Their refurbishment has been carried

The Swan Hote 3

The Swan Hotel (Southwold)

Having travelled the length and breadth of the British Isles and Ireland, I have seen firsthand what makes this part of the world so special, and The Swan Hotel in Southwold captures that spirit beautifully. As the flagship of Adnams’ pubs and hotels, it offers far more than an elegant place to stay. The Swan was among the first hotels to receive a Michelin Key, an achievement that speaks volumes

The Bull Inn (Woolpit)

The Bull Inn, here in the Medieval Suffolk village of Woolpit, close to Bury St Edmunds, is everything a proper country inn should be. Your hosts, Paul and Darren have been welcoming guests here for the past decade, and their warmth is felt from the moment you arrive. For romantic couples seeking comfort, character and a genuinely relaxed escape, The Bull delivers beautifully. This is a traditional hostelry at heart,

Woodfarm Barn & Barges

For this romantic destinations book, I have travelled the length and breadth of the British Isles searching for places that feel truly special, and Woodfarm Barns and Barges in the pretty Suffolk village of Stonham Aspal certainly deserves its place. This is romantic accommodation with real soul, combining character, charm and heritage with the kind of thoughtful hospitality every couple hopes to find. The barns have a wonderfully relaxed, rustic elegance,
