For this romantic destinations book, I have travelled the length and breadth of the British Isles searching for places that feel truly special, and Woodfarm Barns and Barges in the pretty Suffolk village of Stonham Aspal certainly deserves its place. This is romantic accommodation with real soul, combining character, charm and heritage with the kind of thoughtful hospitality every couple hopes to find. The barns have a wonderfully relaxed, rustic elegance, creating spaces that are stylish, comfortable and full of personality. Add in private hot tubs, and evenings here become beautifully memorable, whether under clear Suffolk skies or after a day exploring the countryside. What also stands out is just how proudly dog friendly Woodfarm is, with every accommodation welcoming four-legged guests, complete with treats and a dog exercise meadow. Authentic, peaceful and genuinely romantic, Woodfarm Barns and Barges is highly recommended indeed.
