Dare Cafe Bar & Restaurant
Located in the centre of Headingley, Dare is all about offering simple, honest food at very reasonable prices. Since opening in 1993 it has developed a loyal following and is now a fixture of the Headingley student scene and also very popular with the locals, families and couples. Open all day from 9am for breakfast, including Dare's own unique full english, healthy options and really good coffee, through to lunchtimes where sandwiches, paninis and Dare's delicious homemade soups attract the crowds. The main menu is offered from 11am - 10pm and features generous portions of mexican dishes including fajitas, enchiladas, Burritos and the pizzas here are large and freshly made to order. A intimate basement base is open Fridays and Saturdays from 7pm offering a large selection of cocktails, shooters and bottled beers, with many on promotion.
