Italy, has I’m sure, been mourning the loss of a fantastic chef, this is of course since Nino Parravano decided, with the help of his wife Anna, to open this wonderful little Italian restaurant in the heart of Musselburgh’s high street. Dal Patino is a family run restaurant, that prides itself on its locally sourced food and totally authentic team of Italian chefs and waiters and after being highly recommended by a local Bed & Breakfast, I knew from the minute I walked into this cute little trattoria, that I was walking into a very special place and when I saw the menu, I was quite taken aback at the menus more than affordable prices and also, the items on the menu, you’ll not find them all on any other Italian restaurant menu as they come directly from Italy and Nino’s family themselves, so, for a totally authentic experience, Dal Patino is the only Musselburgh restaurant that I would recommend!
