Almond Valley Heritage Centre
Review
Edinburgh is a great city, don’t get us wrong; but to appreciate the whole region you really need to venture further afield into the Lothians to get a real flavour of what the local area is all about. At Almond Valley, you will be able to explore this heritage site and we guarantee that there is something for everyone there, no matter what age. On the day that the author visited, he was taken aback at just how vast and professionally run it is, from the staff right down to the attraction’s facilities themselves. Almond Valley is not only an all-weather attraction, it is also open throughout the whole year, bar 4 days. The entrance fee is more than reasonable for an attraction of this size and calibre. We do recommend checking out their website for a better picture of opening times and when certain things like the tractor and train rides are operating, to avoid disappointment.
