The Westport Country Lodge Hotel is a fantastic choice for those seeking a blend of affordability and luxury. Having stayed here myself, I can attest to the exceptional quality of the rooms—spacious, tastefully decorated, and clearly built with no expense spared. The owner’s vision shines through in every detail, offering guests a premium experience at a reasonable price. The staff are warm, welcoming, and attentive, adding to the hotel’s inviting atmosphere. The food offering is also exceptional, a highlight I’ve covered in the Co. Mayo "Food for Thought" section. Just a few miles from Westport, the hotel is ideally situated for exploring the charming town, the stunning landscapes of Mayo, and even nearby Connemara. It’s a perfect retreat for relaxation and adventure alike.
