For three decades, this family-run haven has perfected the art of a cosy, affordable stay just a mile or two from Kilkenny’s lively heart. Dan and his family really do go the extra mile in all the ways that matter: spotless facilities, warm guidance on local gems, and a relaxed, friendly atmosphere that makes short breaks feel like real holidays. In truth, Ireland still has ground to cover on dog-friendly stays, but Tree Grove is leading by example, dogs are genuinely welcome here. Sensibly, pets can’t be left in accommodation, a small trade-off for bringing your four-legged companion to such a wonderful place. Peaceful pitches, comfortable glamping options, and genuine hospitality seal the deal.
