Tobervilla House
Review
Perfectly positioned between Killarney and Valentia Island, Tobervilla House is an excellent choice for an overnight stop or a relaxing base from which to explore County Kerry. Hosts Melissa and Michael McAllen have sympathetically restored this Georgian property, creating a guest house where comfort and quality are evident throughout. Despite the families high standards, a stay here remains reasonably priced, which is always really welcome when touring Ireland. My room was immaculate, furnished perfectly and really comfortable, giving me one of the best nights’ sleep I had enjoyed in a very long time. The peace and quiet was remarkable, with no traffic or unnecessary noise to disturb the evening. Breakfast was another highlight, with a buffet offering plenty to prepare you for the day ahead.
