Review

The present owners of the Unicorn here in Caersws really have taken the challenge of owning an iconic pub seriously. Phil & Catherine Edwards have invested a small fortune into bringing the Unicorn Hotel kicking and screaming into the 21st century and I was completely taken by surprise at the quality of not only the rooms, but the hotel in general. They're also famous for their Sunday carvery and their food in general, but it is advisable to book ahead on a Sunday, as they get really busy. Both owners are lovely and I could of talked to Phil all day, that's why they command the reviews they do, you'd be hard pushed to find a genuinely bad review about this place. Located at the gateway to Mid Wales, the Unicorn in Caersws is a perfect base to visit all the attractions and sites that Mid Wales has to offer.
