Porth Farm
Review
“Starry, starry night, flaming flowers that brightly blaze, swirling clouds in violet haze, reflect in Vincent’s eyes of china blue.” McLean/Sunshine/Martin.
Sunflowers seem to radiate pure joy and positive vibes, and this perfect, happy flower, can be enjoyed with abandon at Porth Farm. With stunning scenery, and a fantastic environment: Porth Farm boasts four acres of six different varieties of sunflowers, alongside a two-acre maize maze, situated on the outskirts of Caersws, near Newtown. This stunning outdoor experience makes a perfect day out for all the family, and helps us to more fully understand biodiversity and conservation. Nothing can beat that glorious feeling of being among nature, and the farm has proved highly popular, with autumnal fun including pumpkin carving and Halloween decorations. Why not try Woodland Wander with the 2 maize mazes, with one having a watchtower. What began as a tiny sunflower seed of an idea for farm owners; Sarah and Gerwyn, has bloomed into a fantastic flower power experience. So bring along the family and enjoy delicious ice cream and homemade cakes, just remember to bring comfy shoes!
