The Elephant and Castle Hotel is a privately owned hotel, bought by a local farming family. Over the last 4 years we have completely refurbished the whole of the hotel to provide our guests with modern, high quality accommodation and function facilitites, for business or pleasure.
Our friendly team of staff strive to ensure that your time with us is a memorable one, and we look forward to welcoming new and returning guests to our hotel.

We have 17 individual and tastefully decorated bedrooms with modern furnishings and decor within the main hotel. Most of these rooms have the flexibility to be either twin rooms or king size double rooms. All en-suites have been refurbished to a very high standard, including purpose built furniture. They have large flat screen TVs, Tea & Coffee making facilities, Free Wi-Fi access points, direct dial phones and hairdriers.

Broad Street Lounge Bar

Our newly refurbished Lounge Bar is at the front of the hotel and is accessible from Broad Street and Reception. We have created a relaxed seating environment complete with large leather sofas, contemporary furniture and an additional seating area to welcome all our customers, whether its for a relaxing drink or coffee with friends, or dining in small or larger groups.

We have a great selection of fresh, homemade meals to suit everyone. Our menu is varied and changed seasonally to offer everything from light bites, sandwiches and paninis, to main courses and daily specialities. Fresh coffee is served throughout the day. The bar is well stocked with a variety of soft drinks, hand pulled beers, draught ciders and lagers, wines and spirits.

Riverside Restaurant
Breakfast is served in our Riverside Restaurant. It is a lovely way to start your day looking out over the river whilst having breakfast.
For lunch or dinner you will be greated as you arrive in the Cocktail Bar, and invited to take a seat and enjoy a pre-dinner drink in plush surroundings, whilst you choose from the delicious dishes on offer. We have a varied selection of wines to compliment our dishes.
Our Restaurant can accommodate up to 40 people and offers beautiful views of the River Severn. Our team of professional Chefs offer superb homemade food in a picturesque setting. The menus are changed on a seasonal basis, and we use fresh local produce to create our dishes, which are all cooked to order. We can cater for special dietary requirements and our friendly team of Restaurant staff will be delighted to assist you, to ensure your dining experience with us is a truly enjoyable one.
