Horseshoes Inn
Horseshoes Berriew is a small, family run restaurant that prides itself on serving quality and wholesome food using locally sourced and produced ingredients wherever possible. We aim to provide all of this in a warm, relaxed and traditional environment. We can cater for large groups of people and are a family friendly run pub. We have a large selection of choices on our menu and we are positive there is something for everyone, however if you have any queries regarding the menu or dietary requirements, please don’t hesitate to contact us prior to your visit. On those cold winter days pop in and enjoy some warming food in front of our log burning fire, alternatively during the summer months enjoy your food al fresco in our newly refurbished, dog friendly beer garden and let the children run around in our new childrens play area.
Review
“ The knotted oak beside it, webbed with ivy leaves, honeysuckle tangles in clusters round the eaves”. V.W.Bass.
Horseshoes Inn is situated in the green and unspoiled village of Berriew, where the silvery Montgomeryshire canal flows through. The peaceful village is abundant with Listed Buildings, and The Horseshoes Inn started life as a 17th Century coaching inn. Pretty as a picture, this is the quintessential cosy pub, with a delightfully warm welcome from Darren and his excellent team, who keep the wheels of the inn moving smoothly. Well kept wooden floors and a blazing fire create a soothing ambiance, the vibe in the pub is alive with a lovely family atmosphere. The food is homemade, locally sourced and totally delish. Choose from the impressive menu, scrumptious Starters, Sizzling Steaks from the grill, and Horseshoes Favourites such as Roast dinners, Vegetarian options and Food For Little People!
