The Strafford Arms is nestled in the picturesque village of Stainborough, just outside Barnsley in the beautiful South Yorkshire countryside, on your way to the estate of Wentworth Castle and gardens. This historic building has been refurbished to the highest standard and provides a stunning, contemporary restaurant and pub while retaining a traditional feel at the same time. The food, the food, the food… it is difficult to describe the level of excellence that they have managed to achieve and the variety on offer. There are many jewels to this culinary crown and all of them are freshly made from locally sourced ingredients and professionally presented with excellent service. There is something to tantalise any palate here, and to cater for any dietary requirement. An exceptional meal and or pub experience.
