Eating OutAccommodation

Review

We chose all of our places to sleep and eat very carefully and even though I may of not been able to stay and eat in every business, I’ve still visited to make sure its to the standard you expect. Here at the Star Inn, I needn’t of worried as the amount of money that has been spent in bringing the pub up to standard is truly impressive to say the least. Being a family owned pub doesn't come without its difficulties, but Katie and her team really have got a handle on them all. The rooms are really nice, the pub’s food is very popular and the breakfast goes down a real treat, just enough to set you up for the day. I found all of the staff to be really friendly, the prices of the food more than reasonable and the accommodation was of a very high quality.

Cawdor Castle is an imposing late fourteenth-century edifice; a place of legends and tales, with vaulted ceilings and a drawbridge that stirs the historian in each of us.
