The Lichfield Vaults
The Lichfield Vaults is a welcoming city centre pub tucked away in Church Street, Hereford, a minute's walk from both the Cathedral and High Town. Andy and Lesley, together with their friendly team, offer customers a traditional pub experience in a cosy and relaxing atmosphere while serving up some of the finest ales and pub food in Herefordshire - with a twist. Andy's Greek Cypriot roots are reflected in the menu with its emphasis on fresh, simple and tasty Greek specialties. Our ever-popular Roast Sunday Lunch is served from 12.00 to 4.00 pm and costs just £9.95.
But there is much more to the Lich than just its excellent food. It is also rightly famous for its array of real ales - from Deuchars IPA, Doom Bar, Golden XPA to Adnams Broadside. And as well as excellent beers you'll find a wide range of wines by the glass or bottle, draught and bottled ciders and lagers, spirits and coffees. The Lich also hosts regular live music events. Outside there is a large decked seating area. The whole pub is disabled friendly and background music is non-intrusive.
Free Wi-Fi is available. We welcome dogs as long as they are kept on a lead. The Lich attracts an eclectic mix of customers, all of whom are made to feel part of the family, so why not come along and experience its unique atmosphere for yourself.
Greek food in an English pub - an irresistible combo!
Andy's family are from Cyprus and his Greek Mediterranean roots are reflected in the food served at The Lichfield Vaults, such as mezes (small dishes), platters and kebabs. As well as Greek
specialities you can enjoy a range of baguettes and sandwiches, burgers, salads and soups. All our food is freshly prepared and served from 11.00 am until 4.00 pm. We also serve a traditional Greek Sunday lunch with slow cooked pot roasts such as Kleftiko. Greek bar snacks are available all day.
