The wild open landscapes of Halkyn Mountain are breathtaking, covering nearly 2000 acres of grassland, gorse and bracken. Amongst this ancient urban common an idea was born; a unique opportunity to enjoy it all; on horseback. In actual fact it is a holiday for you and your beloved horse. The Gables was built in 2007 and is a splendid country house on the edge of the mighty Halkyn Mountain and is beautifully decorated throughout. Much care and attention has been lovingly poured into this outstanding property, with every modern facility available. If you happen to be biking, hiking, or just fancy a few days chilling out in the country, this is a perfect place to stay. Delicious, home cooked food and a really warm and welcome atmosphere.
