Review

“Crystal and refreshing as the springs air, my spirit is revived, as I glide without a care. Transformed from mortal to the celestial. I bathe in the purity of this sweet calming festival.” deepwriter.

No matter where you go in the world, you will likely find a golf club: and at the Holywell Golf Club you will find everything a golfer needs in order to be happy; including the most heavenly views. Situated approximately 800 feet above sea level, this 18-hole course presents simply splendid scenery, over the outstandingly beautiful Clwydian Range & Snowdonia. Holywell is one of Wales’ Seven Wonders, and is fondly referred to as the “Lourdes of Wales,” due to the story of the miraculous St .Winifred. The course offers a unique challenge for golfers of all levels with its many natural risk factors including quarries, water hazards and grass bunkers! Each hole provides an interesting challenge, which guarantees you’ll stay focused on this condensed links style course. Created over a hundred years ago, the club itself is extremely warm & friendly, and offers first class catering, highly professional service and affordable fees.
