The Fox & Hounds at Walton
Review
The Fox and Hounds Inn is a successful traditional English pub in Walton, West Yorkshire, run by the Lamb family for the past 10 years. Its interior is chic and friendly; a welcoming space that is a perfect blend of the traditional and the modern. Beautiful old pictures of the master of hounds being served a stirrup cup adorn the walls. Menus at the Fox and Hounds include the traditional pub meals as well as scrumptious dishes in a class of their own. There are winter versions to acknowledge the change in weather and therefore the patrons’ need for warmth. There is a separate early evening option for those early to bed, and for Sundays, as well as menus for a high day such as Christmas.The meals are generous, full of flair and beautifully presented, just like those at The Bay Horse at Kirk Deighton, which the Lamb family acquired a few years ago.
