The Dunkirk
Review
The Dunkirk is an inn in Denby Dale, between Huddersfield and Holmfith, whose wonderful renovation has given it a new lease of life. It was a pub in difficulties and now it is a happily thriving concern. The light and airy main section of the interior is friendly and inviting. For a quiet drink settle in a deep leather couch and on a clear day, the rooftop is an ideal space with its views of the landscape.
A pleasant variety of drinks are on offer, from local real ales to an impressive gin menu. It also has a wine list of note and proudly promotes its prosecco and champagne if it is bubbles you prefer.
Meals are carefully crafted by the chef, who sources his ingredients locally. The meals are very attractive and taste delicious.
The Dunkirk is a wine-and-dine experience worthy of a return visit!
