Review

The 19th Green Guest House, located just a few short miles outside Killarney, offers exactly the kind of warm, comfortable and genuinely welcoming stay that Kerry is famous for. Family owned and lovingly run by Breda and John Sheehan, who’ve been in the hospitality trade for years, this charming guesthouse has a relaxed, unpretentious feel from the moment you arrive. The rooms are cosy, comfortable and ideal for those wanting a peaceful base while still being close to Killarney’s lively town and surrounding attractions. Breakfast is a real highlight, especially with John being an acclaimed chef, so guests can certainly start the day well. Just across from the Killarney Golf & Fishing Club, it is perfectly placed for golfers, explorers and anyone discovering this beautiful region.

Ross Golf Club

The Ross Golf Club, is a unique Golf Course situated within the superb Killarney Racecourse complex, adding yet another string to the bow of this impressive sporting destination. This welcoming 9-hole course is ideal whether you are an accomplished golfer, a confident player looking for an enjoyable round, or a complete beginner keen to give the game a try. Killarney Racecourse

Killarney Racecourse remains, in my opinion, Ireland’s most picturesque racecourse, and having now endorsed it for the third time, I can say that with complete confidence. Located in the heart of Killarney, surrounded by scenery that very few sporting venues could ever rival, a day at the races here feels genuinely special. With three summer festivals each year, including its prestigious August fixture,

Kerry Woollen Mills

Just a 15-minute drive from Killarney, on the road towards Valentia Island, Kerry Woollen Mills is one of those rare Kerry treasures that blends heritage, craftsmanship and family pride beautifully. Operating on this historic site since 1760, and in the Eadie family since 1904, with only two families before them, it remains a remarkable working mill with genuine soul. Kitty O’Sé’s Seafood Bar Ltd (Killarney)

After a day exploring Kerry’s treasure trove of attractions, Kitty O’Se’s Seafood Restaurant & Grill in Killarney is exactly the place you hope to find. Independently owned and full of character, it has rightly earned a reputation as one of Killarney’s finest seafood restaurants, yet those who prefer something from the land are equally well looked after. The steaks, cooked on a sizzling stone, are a real treat, while the legendary seafood tower
