Killarney Racecourse
Review
Killarney Racecourse remains, in my opinion, Ireland’s most picturesque racecourse, and having now endorsed it for the third time, I can say that with complete confidence. Located in the heart of Killarney, surrounded by scenery that very few sporting venues could ever rival, a day at the races here feels genuinely special. With three summer festivals each year, including its prestigious August fixture, Killarney has become a highlight of the racing calendar for seasoned racegoers and newcomers alike. There is a package and atmosphere to suit everyone, whether you know your form inside out or are simply coming along for the occasion. What makes this complex even more impressive is that it now offers so much beyond racing, from live Irish music and dance to Ross Golf Club nearby. Add in the welcoming Racecourse Café and its onsite luxury glamping accommodation open to all, and you have a year-round destination.
