Splashworld in Tramore is one of those attractions that proves Co. Waterford really does have everything to offer. Waterford may be Ireland’s oldest city, but just a short drive away on Tramore’s famous promenade, you’ll find this brilliant not forprofit leisure centre that has been entertaining families and swimmers for years. From the moment you walk in, the staff are bright and friendly and it’s clear there’s something here for everyone. There’s a superb 4-lane 25-metre pool for those who love to swim, a fully equipped gym for fitness fans, and a bright, modern studio space with classes to suit all abilities. For families, Splashworld is an absolute winner. The lazy river and wave pool bring plenty of excitement, while younger children will love the dedicated splash pool with fountains and jets. Add in the sauna for a well-earned wind down, and you’ve got a perfect day out by the sea.
