Scone Palace
Review
Scone Palace is one of the very few attractions to actually receive three of our hidden gem awards. Heritage, Historic Importance and Gardens & Parklands and Scone Palace without a doubt deserve all three. I found the tour around the palace to be really informative, the staff were really friendly and were able to answer any question that was asked of them and believe me, I asked a few. The surrounding grounds and parkland is really stunning and despite me only having a couple of hours during my visit, I could have spent all day here. With just over a hundred acres of gardens and parkland to explore, including a leisurely stroll around the palace, I would plan a day here if I were you and despite the palace having their own well stocked coffee shop, a picnic within the grounds would be a great idea and with the palace as a backdrop, what more could you want from your day out?
