Review
The Smiddy Haugh Inn is to be found in Aberuthven, deep in the heart of Scotland and a good stopping point for a trip to the north. This family-owned stone hotel welcomes you with all the best that Scottish hospitality has to offer. There are several bedrooms (most en-suite) on offer here for the night, all of which have all the mod-cons available but retain a traditional feel, and are spotless and cosy. In the morning you have a choice of a proper Scottish breakfast (or a Continental one if you prefer) in the character-filled dining room. The restaurant serves up a wholesome and varied menu featuring Scotland’s finest favourites, with something suitable for every taste bud. All the food here is made from locally-sourced and seasonal produce. Apart from the a la carte menu offered in the restaurant, you could enjoy a delicious meal at the very well stocked and popular dog-friendly bar.
