O’Connor’s Bar & Lounge in Tinahely is more than just a good pub, it’s a great one, and there is a real difference. From the moment you step inside, their friendly team makes you feel right at home. Despite me arriving just as the kitchen was closing, they still managed to prepare a delicious meal without hesitation, now that’s a slick and accommodating operation. The pub came highly recommended by a local accommodation owner and that kind of praise carries serious weight. The atmosphere’s relaxed, the service is spot-on, and the owners and their team clearly care about what they do, and nothing was ever too much trouble, for me or for anyone else visiting that night. A proper gem in the heart of Wicklow.
