Most people love lavender for its soothing scent and captivating colour: however, it also has many medicinal and therapeutic benefits, and can help both anxiety disorders and insomnia. Wexford Lavender Farm is Ireland's one and only commercial lavender farm, and this family-run business is fuelled by a plethora of ‘Passion for Purple,’ and is positively blooming over in a profusion of purple pollen. With four acres of lavender, and a charming cafe, there’s so much to see and do at this awesome, aromatic attraction, including a children’s playground, an exciting quad barrel train ride, wonderous wooden maze, fascinating video distillery talk, stunning woodland walks, and plenty of things for the little ones to do. All of the lavender grown is organic, and visitors can choose from several varieties of lavender to take home, create floral wreaths, plus many more activities, but best of all; lavender products - so you can return home with a bag full of bathtime goodies, and luxuriate in a uninterrupted, purple haze
