Before I talk about this attraction, I must explain that it is operated by Falkirk Community Trust and what a wonderful job they do as well; the team have a huge passion for all of their destinations and it’s worth popping onto their website to see other suggestions of where to visit in the Falkirk area. Here at Muiravonside Country Park, the emphasis is on the great outdoors, with animals at the heart of it. With some great spots to picnic, brilliant play areas, a café and a farm park to boot, there is something for all ages here and more than enough to keep you busy all day. It’s no wonder TV shows such as Outlander have chosen to film here – the views are nothing short of spectacular! Not only is Muiravonside child friendly, it’s pet friendly too, so if you’re travelling with your dog, you are well catered for here.
