As a travel journalist, I take the choosing of my accommodation providers very seriously; after all, you’re with them for most of your stay. Hilltop B&B in Kilkee passes that test with flying colours. Your hosts are the O’Gormans, with Theresa ready to welcome you at the door and wave you off after your wonderful stay. Bedrooms are modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with great views framed by every window and a stay here will not break the bank. Set on the edge of Kilkee, you’re never far from Co. Clare’s star attractions, and, just as importantly, those glorious coastal drives that turn every journey into part of the holiday. For warmth, value and scenery that lifts the soul, Hilltop B&B is an easy recommendation.
