Award-winning Hensol Castle Distillery, in South Wales: brings a medley of happiness to all, with their skillfully balanced Tours, Gin Making Experience & Cocktail Masterclasses. From within the cellars of the Grade 1 Listed Hensol Castle, built in the 17th Century on the Vale of Glamorgan, visitors can discover South Wales’ first full scale gin distillery and bottling plant. Blending a light and vibrant atmosphere together with the history of the castle, creates an eclectic balance of the past and present. The lovely tour guides are fun, and very informative, as you’re introduced to the wonderful world of gin tasting and making, and visitors can choose from the different tours, which includes a fascinating peek into the sensory botanicals room.
