Duffryn Mawr Cottages

Our cottages offer comfortable and affordable accommodation in a peaceful, private, rural location. Our aim is to make your break in The Vale of Glamorgan as comfortable and stress free as possible with the promise of a warm welcome.

The award winning village of Pendoylan is just a minutes drive or walkable across the fields, this takes about 30 mins.

In the other direction is the village of Peterston Super Ely where the lovely (“top pub”) Three Horse Shoes offers great pub grub and a lovely country atmosphere.

Come rain or shine there's always something exhilarating about a visit to the coast and countryside of the Vale of Glamorgan, it's the perfect place for a holiday or short break.

The Loft has two large bedrooms, one is on the ground floor and can sleep up to 3 in single beds and the other is upstairs and has a double bed, there is room for an additional single bed if required for young families. This room has a charming Juliette balcony that looks over The Secret Garden and beyond. Outside is a delightful south facing patio area looking out over the garden plus ample parking.

Kingfisher has been carefully converted from a pretty stone barn.The fully equipped kitchen is open plan to the living area so your chef can still be part of the family!! The rest of the cottage includes a double and twin bedrooms and good sized bathroom. Outside are two south facing patio areas, ideal for alfresco dining and ample parking.

Swallow Cottage is our smaller, cosy cottage converted from the stone barn. It has one double bedroom and a bathroom with overhead shower. The living area is open plan with the kitchen and a TV/DVD is provided along with a CD player. The kitchen is fully equipped as Kingfisher Cottage. Again, outside are the south facing patio areas with table and chairs and ample parking. A hair dryer and ironing facilities are provided.
