Eating Out

Review

Here in Clifden sits one of Ireland’s finest seafood restaurants, Guys Seafood Bar. Family-owned and run, this gem has earned a reputation that stretches far beyond Connemara, with visitors travelling from all over just to dine here. I ate at Guys during my recent stay and was blown away. The smoked salmon was melt-in-the-mouth perfection, as if it had just come out of the smoker, while the tiger prawns were so plump and juicy, I savoured every bite. The atmosphere’s warm and welcoming, the service professional yet friendly and the overall experience nothing short of exceptional. If you're in Clifden and love seafood, this is the place to be. Guys isn’t just the best seafood restaurant in town, it’s one of the best in Ireland.
