Greenlane Gallery is Susan Callery’s other love letter to Dingle, and the pedigree shows. If she can guide riders across mountains and strands, she can certainly guide eyes and hearts; this gallery does exactly that. Inside, a confident mix of local painters and sculptors fills three floors with work that feels both rooted and forward-looking. Atlantic light caught in oils, storm-bent grasses rendered in ink, stone shaped like sea-worn memory. It’s contemporary without losing its accent, traditional without feeling safe. The curation is sharp, the introduction notes helpful, and prices span first-time buyers to seasoned collectors. Best of all, so much of it is born of the surrounding landscape, the harbour’s changing blues, the brooding hills, the quicksilver weather, that stepping out again feels like exiting a vast, living canvas.
