Review
Glenroe Farm offer a wide variety of farm animals including horses, donkeys, fellabellas, pigs, goats and pigmy goats, sheep and lambs, cows, sika deer and farm fowl: hens, ducks and geese. There is also Pets Corner where the young and curious visitors can hold and pet their favourite furry animals including rabbits, gerbils, guinea pigs. Other features include a well equipped playground situated overlooking the open farm suitable for children from age 2 to 12 years old, 350 year old thatched farmhouse with exhibits, plus in the exhibition area also find toys from a bygone era and a detailed look at the animals that live in the wild on the farm. The Nature Walk is a relaxing walk through the working farm taking you to the marshlands of the Wicklow coastline, plus the kids can make discoveries in the sensory and secret gardens. Indoor and outdoor picnic areas available.
