Glendine Country House
Review
Glendine Country House is one of those wonderfully charming places where romance, heritage and genuine Irish hospitality come together with effortless warmth. Set within the pretty village of Arthurstown, just a short drive from historic New Ross, this family-owned property has been welcoming guests for nearly two hundred years, and that sense of character is felt the moment you arrive. Your hosts Ann and Tom, together with April their general manager, take real pride in offering a true Irish welcome, and their mantra of “arrive as guests, leave as friends” feels beautifully sincere. The rooms are comfortable, inviting and well suited to a relaxing break in this lovely corner of Co. Wexford. With so many top attractions, coastal drives and heritage sites nearby, Glendine makes a perfect romantic base for exploring. Warm, personal and full of quiet charm, it is easy to see why guests return time and time again.

A visit here is far more than a simple walk around an old fort; it is a fascinating journey through the stories,

Dunmore Adventure & Sea Safari
Dunmore Adventure in Dunmore East is one of those places that instantly reminds you why Ireland’s coastal attractions are so special. Beautifully positioned beside its marina, with a beach right on hand, this long-established, family-run centre has been helping visitors create brilliant memories for more than thirty years and counting.

Mary Barrys Bar & Restaurant
Mary Barry’s Seafood Bar & Restaurant, on the outskirts of Kilmore Quay, is a pub and dining destination I was genuinely delighted to return to after first endorsing it nine years ago. Expectations were high, but what Susie Doyle and her husband Alec have achieved here is exceptional. In my opinion, Mary Barry’s is now the finest pub in Co. Wexford, and fully deserving of our rare Iconic Status.
